Responsibilities

Assist the Engineer/Project Managers with tasks related to audio visual projects supporting George Mason classrooms, labs, and various informal learning spaces, including tasks requiring networking skills;

Assist engineers and project managers with tasks related to the planning and installation of audio-visual system installations across three campuses;

Support in all phases of the project management life cycle; and

Assist in documentation of equipment receipts and tracking of inventory.

Required

In depth and broad knowledge of computing technologies, audio-visual equipment, video conferencing technologies, and audio-visual control systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work cohesively in a team environment

Preferred

Knowledge of networking basics

Experience supporting audio visual installations
