Responsibilities
Manage R&D facility capital projects, including lab & office renovations and utility installations (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, data).
Work with utility technicians to understand schedules and impacts of project work and communicate info to impacted stakeholders.
Manage lab equipment installations, including mass specs, SFCs, biosafety cabinets, liquid handlers, and miscellaneous other equipment.
Develop cost estimates for upcoming projects and maintain cost tracking for ongoing projects.
Develop SOPs and PM plans for facilities maintenance processes, including gas flow valve calibration, flow hood certification, and pump maintenance.
Oversee closeout and commissioning of projects and ensure all documentation is updated and transferred to customers and AHJs.
Oversee changeover of lab services and maintenance program to new supplier.
Perform movability analysis on lab equipment from one site to a new site.
Perform criticality analysis on lab equipment.
Assist with project administration and internal processes.
Support internal and exterior project areas including internal CAPEX and OPEX projects, interior renovation, utility plant, conservation, zoning approvals, projects for existing tenants, and clients' internal landlord tasks.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical or other related Engineering or relevant field
4-6+years of project engineering experience in a Biopharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
Strong knowledge of biotech processing of aseptic manufacturing equipment
Expert knowledge of Project Management methodologies and life cycle including ISPE good practice is required
Strong understanding of industrial and cGMP requirements, Engineering Life Cycle and associated quality systems
Experience facilitating meetings and establishing safe practices in a cGMP environment
Solid engineering capabilities related to reviewing and approving construction designs, equipment installation and specifications
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and environmental engineering, HVAC systems, and utilities
Knowledge of commissioning, qualification and validation and other regulatory compliance requirements
Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
