Responsibilities
Supports the team in safely producing the highest quality product in accordance with plant standards.
Accountability for the development and implementation of a reliability system that will result in more reliable equipment.
Implementation and execution of predictive and preventative technologies to improve reliability.
Provide recommendations for long-term improvement of equipment and processes.
Participate in the development of the plant’s budget process.
Lead problem-solving processes to drive process reliability.
Lead project management activities including vendor recommendations, contractor safety documentation, and project forecasting.
Monitors, tracks, and reports key reliability and machine efficiency metrics.
Leads the development of corrective actions and problem-solving for reliability issues.
Maintains equipment criticality assessments and effective maintenance strategies.
Attend and report on department projects regarding reliability.
Develops a pipeline of new technology to improve reliability processes.
Defines reliability-based queries and reports for continuous improvement.
Accountable for area process changes to ensure product quality and safety.
Work with maintenance support groups to develop predictive maintenance protocol.
Maintain compliance with all Alcoa Engineering Standards.
Translates corporate and plant objectives into achievable goals for the department.
Follows all policies, procedures, and EHS requirements.
Performs other duties as requested by management.
Promotes and practices Arconic Business System concepts and philosophies.

Required
Bachelors Degree in a technical field, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Power BI)
Proficient with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments concurrently and be results oriented
Able to work flexible hours as required
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred
Strong mechanical/electrical and process aptitude preferred
Working knowledge of PLC systems
Working knowledge of Casting, Rolling, and Finishing Technology (as appropriate by area) preferred
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems preferred
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization
Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
Operational knowledge regarding process, equipment capability, practices, systems
Good verbal and written communication skills
