Responsibilities

Partner with the Engineering Managers to ensure effective test environments align with agile team’s delivery needs.

Research, suggest, and implement tools to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.

Architect, design, and enhance the automated test framework.

Lead test automation initiatives to drive significant automation benefits.

Mentor QA Analysts and lead test cycles.

Suggest and implement QA process improvements across agile teams.

Oversee development and execution of automated tests.

Ensure quality gates are met and raise any risks or issues to agile teams.

Coach QA Analysts in evolving agile ways of working within the teams.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

10+ years of IT QA experience

2+ years managing QA teams

3+ years working with offshore resources

3+ years working with automation tools (Selenium, Ruby, etc.)

Experience with Salesforce or another Enterprise CRM is desired

Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools

Excellent leadership and team management abilities

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using quality management software and tools

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards

Ability to influence and drive change across the organization

Continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality

Preferred

Strong knowledge of mobile and cloud-based technology

Intermediate SQL knowledge

Advanced understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle/agile concepts

Advanced understanding of programming concepts

Learn new technical concepts quickly

Certification in quality assurance or quality (CMSQ, CSQA, etc.)
