Responsibilities

Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs using Java 11+ and Spring framework (Boot, Hibernate)

Work on Mesos/Marathon, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ

Develop with RDBMS technologies like Postgres/Oracle/SQL server/MySQL and/or databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB

Create web applications using UI technology stacks like Angular 13+ or equivalent like React 17+/VUE

Optimize system performance, write high-quality code, and test with back-end services and databases

Required

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Minimum 4 years of core development experience in below stacks:

Deep expertise in designing, implementing and integrating RESTful APIs using Java 11+, Spring framework (Boot, Hibernate)

Experience in Mesos/Marathon, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ

Experience with RDBMS technologies such as Postgres/Oracle/SQL server/MySQL and/or experience with databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB

Web development experience with UI technology stacks like Angular 13+ or up to date equivalent i.e. React 17+/VUE etc

Integrating and testing with back-end services and databases

Profiling and optimizing system performance

Ability to write good quality and highly performant code

Preferred

Amazon Web Services and cloud deployments (S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.), using tools such as Terraform or AWS CLI

Experience in cloud-based platforms like OpenShift, AWS, GCP, Azure

Experience in Open-Source tools and technologies

OS experience in Linux/Solaris/Mac OSX

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Consistent score in Coding sites like Hackerrank, CodeChef etc.

Industry-acclaimed External Certifications, if applicable

Active participation in Technology forums

Contribution to Open-Source Community

Experience in working in a fast-paced and agile environment

Effective collaboration and communication skills

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
