Responsibilities

Assess and validate data accuracy using Excel formulas; the data sets provided by clients may include financials, demographics, contracts, and/or collateral.

Synthesize and summarize data using Excel and SQL to identify trends and areas of potential risk.

Identify and resolve data discrepancies using analytical skills.

Design reports based on specific financial needs of the company and/or clients; an example is a report that provides snapshot results of a current portfolio management pool.

Conduct trend analysis on such things as delinquency, charge offs, and cash flows.

Strategize with management on financial projects, such as the evaluation of market trends.

Portfolio Pricing.

Account/Portfolio reconciliations.

Perform other projects and tasks as assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Math, or Computer Science (or working towards a bachelor’s degree)

Advanced MS Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Basic familiarity with SQL and database architecture

Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize daily workloads

High-level verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented and inquisitive

Creative, entrepreneurial, and problem solver

Preferred

Experience in the auto finance industry

Knowledge of programming languages

Statistical background and knowledge
