Responsibilities

Ensures the operational functionality of software releases by focusing on all aspects of quality assurance, technical design analysis, developing and creating test plans, and automated test cases as well conducting test events for product features

Works with NIWC stakeholders, development and support teams to ensure comprehensive (both automated and manual) testing is conducted in an Agile fashion

Decomposes system level requirements into comprehensive test cases and test routines

Develops and executes test plans and test cases based on established system requirements and use cases

Develops test reports outlining test results, defects and regression test requirements

Enters defects and software problem reports into the applicable tracking system for escalation/remediation
