Responsibilities

Work with Visa product teams and other stakeholders to ensure Consumer Payments Unified APIs capabilities are aligned with Visa product strategy.

Manage product roadmap and prioritized backlog including production issues.

Work with architects and development teams to ensure detailed requirements are accurate, complete and can be taken up for development.

Ensure all requirements are well articulated in JIRA as Epics/Features for Engineering team and dependent teams.

Facilitate end to end product delivery as needed by undertaking any requirement clarification, scoping, creating functional test scenarios, UAT signs offs, release communications etc.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather high level requirements, convert them into feature specs, prioritize, and partner with engineering teams to drive execution.

Advocate for internal and external customer needs to influence solutions design and priorities.

Establish milestones in alignment with client needs to ensure timely product delivery.

Represent the product team in engineering meetings, providing clarification on features and requirements.

Required

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

8+ years of industry experience in a technology environment

Knowledge and experience working with APIs

Proven ability to develop roadmaps, write user stories, groom product backlogs, and prioritize conflicting requirements in a dynamic environment

Strong experience in working with agile lifecycle and/or tracking and process management tools, e.g. JIRA, JIRA Align

Ability to interpret explicit and implied business requirements, converting them into technical requirements with strong acceptance criteria

Team player with broad experience collaborating with subject matter experts, product teams, system architects and senior software engineers

Strong attention to details, ability to think strategically and independently

Outstanding communication ability including clearly and concisely communicating any project issues, risks to an executive audience

Strong customer centric mindset

Preferred
