Responsibilities

Design lighting controls systems based on construction documents, specifications, and/or sales agent/customer needs.

Utilize construction software to review and mark up construction documents, including fixture schedules, details, and single line diagrams.

Support sales agents and customers in project-specific controls product applications and assist in value engineering projects.

Collaborate and assist on special projects with internal Acuity teams outside of the own team.

Keep up to date on Acuity Controls products portfolio as well as competitor products.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

3 to 5 years experience

Excellent critical thinking skills, independent thought, interpretation, and problem-solving to understand and implement the lighting controls requirements of a project.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Actively contributes to a culture of problem solving and continuous improvement

Ability to work remote.

Preferred

Experience with Auto CAD 2D drafting

Familiarity with lighting controls

Comprehensive understanding of Engineering documentation
