Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve systemic obstacles that prevent the team from delivering high-quality software.
Collaborate closely with Product and Design partners to build the future strategy of the Design System.
Collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders to communicate and increase the adoption of the Design System.
Serve as the team's technical advocate, refining requirements to fulfill customer needs effectively.
Champion an atmosphere of continuous improvement by coaching, mentoring, and advising technically.
Plan and support career development, recruit, and retain top talent.
Advocate for scalable and extensible architecture for Core products and services.
Foster the growth of engineering talent within the team through hiring, coaching, and mentorship.

Required
Experience leading front-end and user experience teams working with a variety of front-end technologies and frameworks, React preferred.
Demonstrated experience scaling and cultivating teams.
Experience developing new products and infrastructure, either in small companies or within the context of larger organizations. A mix of start-up and bigger company experience is a plus.
Experience building and cultivating strong engineering practices and processes.
Consistent track record of delivering scalable, high-performance, and high-quality software systems.
Strong technical acumen, creativity, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence.
A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred
Hands-on experience with front-end and user experience teams working with a variety of front-end technologies and frameworks
Experience with developing and scaling Design Systems or large-scale Component Libraries
