Responsibilities
Create effective, high-impact designs that communicate the Stanford FCU brand and messaging
Develop creative advertising concepts
Develop engaging and accurate designs for various platforms such as email, website, social media, digital ads, brochures, etc.
Manage all department design tasks from concept to completed deliverables
Work independently and proactively to maximize productivity
Ensure accuracy of creative elements by understanding products and campaign goals
Route collateral for approval and coordinate changes and feedback
Oversee multiple marketing projects with attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines
Coordinate workflow between departments, agencies, designers, and printers
Maintain proficiency in software programs for design and production
Assist in coordinating and participating in special events to promote the credit union
Maintain knowledge and expertise of branding guidelines for partners
Perform other duties as assigned

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 4 years of graphic design experience
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
Expert knowledge of design fundamentals including typography, layout, and color
Ability to create effective, high impact designs
Ability to generate creative headline ideas and repurpose copy into new assets
Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of work including print and digital
Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a small but high-performing team
Great attention to detail and highly organized
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments and roles
