Responsibilities

Participates in pre-construction activities such as establishing document control procedures, performing quantity takeoffs, conducting site investigation, and initiating Prolog setup.
Coordinates project start-up, reviews owner contracts, assists with startup checklist, and coordinates mobilization.
Expedites materials by developing submittal log, confirming delivery of materials, and coordinating construction activities with the superintendent.
Facilitates project administration by expediting subcontractor/vendor agreements, preparing meeting agendas, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Tracks project costs, manages change order process, and negotiates owner change orders.
Manages project closeout by preparing closeout log, coordinating owner training, and completing subcontractor/vendor closeout.
Participates in personal career development by maintaining certifications and licenses, and promoting the company through various activities.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field required.
Two years of construction industry experience required as a project engineer or senior project engineer, including: any experience with construction project management applications; any experience interfacing directly with owner representatives, A/E teams, building departments, and team members; and any experience with basic finance skills.
Must have legal authority to work in the U.S.
