Responsibilities

Design and engineer commercial and small utility-scale solar PV projects
Communicate with utilities and stay updated on code and policy changes
Coordinate with customers, engineering firms, and vendors
Perform inspections, oversee commissioning, and assist in project closeouts
Conduct production analysis for PV systems and support pre-contract due diligence

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred) or related major
2-3 years of experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
Proficient in Helioscope, AutoCAD, PVSyst and Excel
Understands permitting & interconnection process
Basic understanding of financial modeling and incentive programs

Preferred

Experience with Procore and Salesforce a plus
Computer Skills preferred: Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project knowledge, CRM, and Smartsheet
Ability to work independently, prioritize workload and deliver quality results on time while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Plan and organize tasks to consistently produce results, with minimal supervision.
Acute attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
Ability to successfully resolve conflicts both internally and externally
