Uses Agile and DevSecOps best practices to iteratively build features of the application for testing and feedback

Work within a cross-functional team to deliver products which meet or exceed the needs of the client.

Apply experience with test driven development (TDD) and Spring Boot to design and modernize customer’s existing applications.

Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Gitlab CI) to automate build process and deploy into numerous environments including an air-gapped environment.

Work with ticketing systems, operational staff and quality assurance personnel to identify and fix software defects.

Story point user stories and tasks to assist in determining velocity.

Assist in development of Software Manuals and Help Guides.

Comfortable working in a hybrid-agile environment that utilizes practices from both the agile and waterfall methodologies.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (civil, electrical, electronic, chemical, industrial, mechanical, aeronautical, avionics, environmental, or computer) from a college or university with a degree curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)

15+ years of experience in software development discipline such as Java, Web services, Database, or web application development

Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

Must have good oral and written communication skills

Must be flexible and interested in learning and working with new technologies

Must demonstrate an ability to work independently or under general direction on requirements that are moderately complex to analyze, plan, program, and implementation

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance

Frameworks: Java 11+, JavaScript, Spring, React/Angular

Databases: PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch
