Responsibilities
Assist the Avue Design Studio team in the full UX design process, from research, design, prototype, and demonstrate, to implementation across Avue platforms
Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing
Create user personas, journey maps, and user flows
Develop low and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma
Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Avue conversational UX
Collaborate with Chief Innovations Officer, UX Design Specialist, business analysts, product managers, and front-end developers to implement design solutions
Work closely with Avue Subject Matter Experts and Avue DevOps team to export designs in requested formats, making it easier to hand off designs to the development team for implementation.
Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the Avue design system
Assist in the creation of presentation materials for stakeholders
Assist in the documentation of design decisions and processes
Stay current with UX trends, tools, and best practices
Ensure all designs align with Avue Technologies Corporation design style guidelines and maintains consistent quality
Manage project timelines and deliver content on schedule
Participate in Quality Assurance testing of the UX with the Avue QA Team and work with the DevOps team to address any issues identified.
Actively participate in design sprints, critiques, and brainstorming sessions
Analyze design performance and iterate for improvement

Required
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
1-2 years of experience in UX design (internships and academic projects considered)
Proficiency in Figma design and prototyping tool
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
Basic understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
Familiarity with user-centered design methodologies and design thinking
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
A portfolio showcasing your UX process and outcomes
Preferred
Experience with rapid prototyping and development processes
Experience with Figma design and prototyping tool
Understanding of basic conversational UX concepts
Understanding of basic UI animation concepts
Understanding of how AI affects UX concepts and implementation
Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods
Knowledge of information architecture principles
