Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute the annual NCAS Planning Retreat in collaboration with the NCAS management team.
Build information packages for the NCAS Snapshot newsletter, agendas, monthly charts, etc (to communicate about NCAS internally and externally).
Use provided tools to manage files and relay information to students and stakeholders about NCAS (SharePoint, email account, listserv, Microsoft Teams channel, etc.).
Coordinate meet and greet opportunities and presentations between alumni who are currently placed in NASA internships and NCAS staff and students.
Support facilitation of and contribute to iterative lessons learned for continuous project improvement.
Gather and package NCAS data for use in reporting.
Solicit and coordinate subject matter expert (SME) engagements with NCAS through invitation to NASA employees and industry partners to support planned STEM engagement experiences.
Use innovations and technologies that broaden student participation, improve student experiences, and advance student skillsets and/or increase student marketability in STEM fields.
Travel to planned in-person events to support NCAS Missions, Conferences, and STEM Engagement events at NASA Field Centers & Partner Institutes.
Support and/or participate in STEM ecosystems events, meetings, and activities that serve community college students.
Support the development of conference proposals.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
Doctoral degree
Eight (8) years of experience
Proficiency in use of application and registration systems
Proficiency in Data Querying
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite particularly Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Forms, and PowerPoint
Ability to develop and execute a plan (document strategic approaches and processes, project and record tasks/timelines, monitor and control variables, measure outcomes, etc.)
Ability to coordinate and schedule events
Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to support program goals (meet deadlines, follow guidance, adhere to a plan, complete tasks, etc.)
Ability to work within integrated teams and systems
Ability to demonstrate reliability (diligence, timeliness, willingness, and accuracy in presented work)
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
