Responsibilities

Provides technical guidance on project scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments.

Supports PM providing technical leadership on various projects.

Conducts technical planning representing analysis, creating designs, preparing reports, and other various tasks.

Designs a complete project, system, component, or process.

Reviews and may prepare complete project documents for conformity and project assurance.

Influences stakeholders and manages stakeholder relationships within and outside Barge.

Directs on-site visits to monitor progress of project.

Directs CADD technicians in preparation of project plans.

Mentors and reviews work of more junior staff for quality purposes.

Technical lead on multi-phase or complex projects.

Performs other duties as requested.

Registered PEMicroStation V8iFDOT PoliciesProblem-Solving

Required

Bachelor's degree from accredited program

Minimum of 4 - 8 years of engineering experience

Registered PE

Thorough knowledge and proficiency acquired through progressive experience

Experience using MicroStation V8i is a plus

OpenRoads experience is a plus

Experienced with FDOT policies and procedures

Preferred

Can be considered a SMS in a discipline or market practice area
