Responsibilities

Design and develop highly scalable e-commerce applications for the Android platform.

Solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.

Gain exposure to various emerging technologies used in Marketing and E-commerce platforms.

Drive projects of high visibility across the organization.

Participate in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information; writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross-functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery.

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area

5 years' experience in software engineering or related area

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area

Background in creating inclusive digital experiences

Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies

Knowledge of accessibility best practices

Experience integrating digital accessibility seamlessly

Familiarity with Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture
