Responsibilities
Write and troubleshoot programs in the HMI and Allen Bradley/GE Fanuc PLC’s and make changes in logic and process controls within a cement manufacturing environment.
Responsible for preventative/predictive maintenance of the control system, with a focus on optimization and reliability of equipment.
Must monitor and maintain CEMS equipment, including calibration, maintenance, troubleshoot and repair to gas analyzer system.
Conduct routine audits of CEMS to assess compliance with current and future environmental regulatory parameters.
Compile collected CEMS’ data into forms, spreadsheets and formal documents and/or reports, which must be conveyed to management and also to State and Federal agencies.
Must also maintain detailed records of repairs and modifications to control logic and CEMS.
Work with other departments on plant automation and process optimization.

Required
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation engineering or related technical field required
3 years of experience in the electrical or process control environment
Candidate should have strong HMI, PLC and instrumentation background
Strong process controls and electrical skills with emphasis on process optimization
Competency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and P&ID drawings
Proven experience in PLC Logic and programming, as well as in HMI systems and related hardware/software
Ability to operate data acquisition/analysis systems and software

Preferable cement process knowledge
