Responsibilities
Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development, and permitting of new construction for RaceTrac and RaceWay convenience stores.
Obtains the necessary permits and communicates with local government agencies as needed.
Resolves highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research.
Understands and recommends alterations to drawings and designs to improve quality and efficiency of the end result.
Negotiates with the company’s executive team and city council by understanding the building and ownership of the projects.
Selects and manages consultants on design/entitlement teams.

Required
3 – 5 years experience preferred, previous work experience in the petroleum industry a plus
Excellent negotiation, communication, decision-making and public presentation skills
Previous involvement with zoning and permitting with city council preferred
Preferred
Previous managerial experience preferred
Proficient with MS Office Suite preferred
