Responsibilities
Develop, evaluate, revise, and apply technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products.
Ensure activities and items are in compliance with company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations.
Perform analysis, identify trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials, and bulk raw materials, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Ensure that established manufacturing inspection, sampling, and statistical process control procedures are followed.
Assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs, ISO, and AS9100 regulations. Evaluate and analyze the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.

Required
Bachelors of Science
Coursework or project background with Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Quality Control (QC) procedures and quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Design of Experiments (DOE)
2-4 years of experience as a Quality Engineer
Proficiency in computer skills
Personable, must interface well with customers
PCB and Contract Manufacturing Experience required
Preferred
Six Sigma and/or Lean-Kaizen experience
