Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of security measures to protect IoT devices and associated systems deployed within medical and government contexts.
Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and security audits on IoT devices, identifying and addressing potential risks and weaknesses.
Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to the unique requirements of the medical and government sectors.
Monitor security compliance and response activities, including the identification and mitigation of security incidents or breaches.
Participate in the implementation and maintenance of security controls, including access control mechanisms, encryption, and authentication protocols for IoT devices and related systems.
Contribute to the design and implementation of security awareness and training programs for internal teams working with IoT devices in medical and government settings.
Stay informed about the latest cyber security trends, threats, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance the security posture of our IoT devices.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices, with a strong interest in specializing in the security of IoT devices for medical and government applications.
Familiarity with common security frameworks and standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, and other relevant regulatory requirements for medical and government data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and address security vulnerabilities and risks associated with IoT devices and related systems.
Familiarity with network security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure network architectures.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to security analysis, incident response, and security compliance tasks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
