Responsibilities

Contribute to existing software to add new functionality and improve performance.

Interact with data scientists, data engineers, and other stakeholders involving group discussions, pair programming, status meetings, and peer reviews to build optimal software solutions.

Participate in discussions with OpenDatahub stakeholders to assess the feasibility of machine learning problem statements and operational issues.

Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.

Design and implement machine-learning models that help in automating and improving software operations.

Implement software automation to deploy and monitor the deployment of applications.

Coordinate during test, staging and production of new software, installing and monitoring its functioning and performance.

Participate in the design process of new software, documentation of requirements, the design itself and its feasibility.

Required

Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.

Three (3) years of programming experience with Python or Golang.

Two (2) years of experience with developing and building applications in Kubernetes or OpenShift.

Two (2) years of experience with developing software in Linux environment, including debugging and working with Linux commands.

Two (2) years of experience with ML technologies, including pipelines, model serving, and notebooks.

One (1) year of experience with source code control tools, including Git.
