Responsibilities

Nearly 15 years of work experience in Object Oriented Design, Modeling, Programming, and Testing in Java, J2EE, XML, and Relational Databases.

Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle.

Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming using Java and J2EE related technologies.

Proficiency in developing secure web applications and server-side development using ORM - Hibernate, EJBs, JBoss Seam, JSF, Struts, Spring, AJAX, JSP, JSTL, Servlets, Java Beans, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, CSS, HTML, Oracle, MySql, and various Patterns.

Proven experience in Java-based frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Java EE.

Proficiency in microservices architecture and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Demonstrable expertise in design patterns, object-oriented design principles, and software development best practices.

Experience with DevOps tools for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) such as Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.

Expertise in developing distributed applications using EJB 2.0/ EJB 3.0 specification and J2EE Application Servers such as IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, JBoss, and Sun One Application Server.

Hands-on experience with databases including Oracle, PL/SQL, and MySql involving stored procedures, triggers, functions, indexes, and packages.

Working knowledge of XML Technologies JAXP (DOM and SAX parsers).

Expertise in developing applications based on Struts (Model 2 Architecture) and JSF frameworks.

Good experience in Spring's IOC, AOP, and Spring's integration with Hibernate and Struts technologies.

Experience in web services using Apache Axis Soap Engine.

Experience in using JBoss Seam, strong experience with EJB 3.0, JSF 1.2, RichFaces, ajax4jsf, and Facelets.

Strong knowledge of Design including J2EE Design Patterns Singleton, MVC, DAO, Builder, Business Delegate, Session Facade, Service Locator, etc.

Experience in open-source rich internet application framework Flex 3.0, Flex Builder, ActionScript, and Knowledge in OpenLaszlo, JavaScript library JSON.

Hands-on experience with tools such as Eclipse, JDeveloper, RAD, Textpad, Editplus, JCreator, Toad, Xml SPY, SQLYOG, Rational Rose, Linux vi editor, etc.

Worked extensively on various flavors of UNIX operating systems like Linux, Solaris.

Hands-on experience in VPN, Putty, winSCP, VNCviewer, etc.

Experienced in writing ANT scripts to build and deploy Java applications.

Hands-on experience in project management tools like ClearCase and VSS.

Strong working knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases like MS-SQL, Oracle 12c/ 11g/ MongoDB, Sybase, MySQL, CouchDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Redis, Teradata.

Experience in implementing Web Services based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Monolithic architecture using SOAP, Restful Web Services, JAX-WS, UDDI, WSDL, WADL.
