Responsibilities
Accurate and efficient pulling, weighing, batching and sampling of a wide variety of bulk powders and products.
Accurate and efficient use of various types of scales for weighing from 1gm to 100kg.
Loading and operation of IMA Cyclops blender, V blender, paddle blender, shaker/sieve, mill, chilsonator and other process equipment.
Cleans and performs basic maintenance of blending machines and support equipment.
Handling and lifting of bulk drums up to 25kg throughout each day.
Ability to effectively and accurately calculate values relating to process quantities and gross and net weights.
Ability to work with and convert between pounds, kilos, grams, milligrams, and micrograms with a high level of accuracy.
A strong ability to work multiple orders per day with extreme care to detail and accuracy.
A strong ability to focus and organize work habits for accurate batching and constant success at the job.
Data entry and maintenance of process records, work reports and maintenance logs, both computerized and physical.

Required
Thorough knowledge of cGMP practices and procedures
Skilled at recognizing unsanitary conditions and practices
Highly capable of following verbal instruction and carrying out specific commands the first time they are told
Accurately performs follow-up and follow through with a high level of attention to time and periodic frequency QA checks and tests within the manufacturing and packaging environment
Experience in food processing operations including knowledge of the food preparation environment and protocols
Experience with scales and blenders. Experience with batch weighing
Experience and knowledge of sanitization and cleaning protocols for the food and/or pharmaceutical industries
Considerable knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar and math with good counting skills
Good comprehension and use of the metric system and weight and length
Skill in handling multiple tasks at one time and able to prioritize accordingly
Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently on complex and confidential tasks
Ability to handle stressful situations
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other associates
The ability to read and write, complete various forms and paperwork including process and control documents with legible handwriting
