Responsibilities
Assist with the development of client features and create robust documentation.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver new features to clients.
Stand up backend services in the cloud following industry best practices for security and reliability.
Contribute to discussions around architecture, design, and technical problem-solving.
Identify dependencies and constraints in software development and across teams.
Break down tasks into smaller, well-defined tasks.
Work with a team in a version control environment (Gitlab, Perforce, etc.).

Required
Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively within your team and with clients.
Previous experience standing up backend services in the cloud, following industry best practices for both security and reliability.
Previous experience working on the application layer of backend services.
Ability to contribute to discussions around architecture, design, and approach for any given technical problem within your realm of expertise.
Ability to identify dependencies and constraints, both in software development and across teams.
Ability to break down tasks into smaller, well-defined tasks.
Comfortable working with a team in a version control environment (Gitlab, Perforce, etc.).
Passion for and understanding of the gaming industry.
Experience with Linux/WSL.
Experience with containerization, mainly Docker and Docker Compose.
Experience deploying applications in Kubernetes.
Experience with infrastructure as code tooling, mainly Terraform.
Experience deploying applications to AWS.
Experience standing up CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins.
4+ years of programming experience; can include but is not limited to paid, volunteer, project, and academic work.
Critical thinking, with the ability to adapt quickly to change, communicate impact, and align with the new direction.
Preferred
Experience working with Golang.
Experience with SQL.
Experience with Redis.
Experience deploying applications to GCP or Azure.
Experience working within the games industry.
Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts.
Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner.
Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities.
