Responsibilities

The Process Engineer works on optimizing process output, equipment utilization, and waste reduction/yield improvements.

Provides technical support in evaluating process deficiencies, changes, and equipment failures.

Coordinates work with other departments and divisions, participates in investigations, and leads mitigations for root cause analysis.

Revise and maintain engineering, equipment, and process procedures.

Participates in GMP audits, develops new ideas within processes, and supports troubleshooting of equipment.

Required

Bachelors degree in Engineering required with experience within process improvement or maintenance engineering functions highly preferred

Fully Bilingual (Spanish/ English) is required

Requires working / visiting all shifts and flexibility to work holidays, irregular hours including weekends per the operational needs

Advanced computer skills and use of software application(s) including MS Office is required

Preferred

Experience with automated assembly and packaging equipment in the medical device manufacturing environment preferred

Process Excellence (Green Belt or Black Belt) and Lean certifications are preferred

Will consider College Hire (recently graduated Dec 2023 - May 2024) with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and with at least six (6) months of experience in the manufacturing regulated industry is preferred; previous COOP and/or internship experience will be considered

Experience in developing manufacturing standards a plus
