Responsibilities

Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native framework.
Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both iOS and Android platforms.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

Required

Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming.
Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code.
Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ).
Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.
Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area.
3+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java/Kotlin—a plus.
Proven track record of delivering applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools.
Ability to maintain code and organize software architecture.
Experience in state management using Redux or similar libraries.
