Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of podcast production. Manage podcast operations and optimize workflows.

Collaborate with production vendor on episode calendar, ensuring topics and guests align with program goals and objectives.

Manage the process for creating, reviewing, compliance, and archiving podcast content.

Ensure a business case for the podcast program is clearly articulated, evaluated regularly, and measured against – sharing out with stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

Partner with data science to ensure performance insights are collected, interpreted, and socialized with a commitment to learning, iterating, and innovating.

Oversee amplification of podcasts, amplifying them as a product.

Partner with social teams to identify synergistic opportunities to amplify podcast material and tap into community conversations.

Submit briefs and work directly with the design team to generate custom creative work. Guide internal creative producer energy.

Manage vendor relationships and production tools as needed.

Experience managing a content calendar, planning episodes, and creating engaging show formats

Experience reviewing scripts and pre-production documents

Experience in audience research and content targeting

Experience creating a marketing program around podcasts

Organized, deadline-oriented, and collaborative with cross-functional partners

Previous experience in radio, journalism, or a related field is a plus

Experience overseeing day-to-day operations of podcast production

Experience managing podcast operations and optimizing workflows

Ability to collaborate with production vendors on episode calendar

Ability to manage the process for creating, reviewing, compliance, and archiving podcast content

Experience ensuring a business case for the podcast program is clearly articulated and evaluated regularly

Experience partnering with data science for performance insights and analysis

Experience overseeing amplification of podcasts

Ability to partner with social teams for amplification and community engagement

Experience submitting briefs and working with design teams for creative work

Experience managing vendor relationships and production tools

Experience producing a market and/or investing podcast

Experience managing a podcast platform as a business

Experience articulating investment relative impact and supporting strategic recommendations

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience or Master’s degree and 3+ years of related experience

Preferred
