Responsibilities

Owning, defining the technical vision, and driving innovation for key technical systems in your area of ownership

Writing clean, optimized and reusable code

Delivering work following established standards and best practices, such as test automation, test coverage, etc

Creating clear, comprehensive technical design documents

Mentoring more junior engineers

Collaborating closely with key music industry stakeholders as well as colleagues in NYC, Los Angeles, and London

Required

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related field

At least 4 years of experience working for a software development company as a Software Engineer

Ability to drive the optimal and efficient design and implementation of complex technical systems spanning multiple teams

Experience in writing or refactoring code with maintainability and optimization in mind

Ability to improve test coverage and make sound design tradeoff decisions

Experience in writing comprehensive technical designs for complex systems

Continuous improvement of code and systems under your ownership through defining technical best practices and efficient development processes

Bias towards action and finding ways to deliver better solutions efficiently

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering. Candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in fields such as Physics or Mathematics may also be considered with highly relevant professional experience
