Responsibilities

Lead distributed SRE community, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to establish SRE capabilities into product operations teams.

Work closely with product engineering and operations team to develop new capabilities to improve product availability, scalability, and performance.

Identify and drive key improvement initiatives across product teams.

Represent technical community as part of the Production Engineering leadership team.

Required

Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering experience

Deep knowledge of SRE practices, methodologies, and principles

Experience leading and maturing SRE communities or teams

Experience modernizing legacy application stacks with SRE principles

Developing/operating large scale distributed services and/or applications

Working with or supporting production, test, and development environments for large scale user environments

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
