Responsibilities

In conjunction with the Stylist Lead, responsible for styling photo, video shoots to effectively achieve clients’ desired creative output

Collaborate with Production and Creative team in maintaining the project integrity for the clients

Oversee the organization and maintenance of the Prop Closet

Maintain styling and merchandise organization for efficient in-studio and/or on-location shoot setups

Communicate new or refreshed prop needs to the Production team

Work in collaboration with Producers to schedule and manage talent – booking talent and models in conjunction with the Stylist Lead and Producer as well as distributing call sheets/schedule emails

Assist on model castings – collecting model cards, recording attendance, creating contact sheets, organizes galleries and tracking imagery on the server

Keep up to date with trends in fashion and retail

Required

At least 2 years of fashion merchandising or styling in a retail or high-volume commercial studio setting

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandising or Associate Degree with related experience within the fashion or visual merchandising field.

Knowledge of current fashion trends with a strong sense of style

Experience with both fashion and prop styling

Understanding of digital photography, production studio pace, and efficiency

Proficient with MAC systems and Adobe software

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines

Must be able to work in a production environment

Strong communication skills and excellent ability to work with a wide variety of people
