Responsibilities

Operator is responsible for adjusting glue machinery to fit a particular style of carton being processed.

Maintaining machinery at optimum speed during production.

Detecting and resolving malfunctions quickly.

Ensuring team members working on gluer machinery are efficient and safe.

Training feeder/catcher trainees as needed.

Performing maintenance duties on gluer machinery.

Maintaining quality and production records.

Making labels per customer specifications.

Teaching and helping fellow operators troubleshoot problems.

Assuming duties of Feeder or Inspector during breaks.
