Responsibilities

Develop automated fire detection and control systems for heavy-duty off-road mining vehicles, commercial kitchens, and firefighter air replenishment systems.

Maintain project ownership throughout the entire development cycle including road mapping, requirements definition, concept development, electronic hardware and firmware development, verification and regulatory testing, training development, and launch.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent four-year technical degree

6+ years of product development experience related to control systems for commercial, industrial, or vehicle applications

Electronic hardware/PCB development

Design verification and regulatory testing

Strong written and verbal communication

Familiarity with software/firmware development processes

Computer proficiency including MS Office

In-office work arrangement with flexibility (commuting distance to Cranston, RI or Marinette, WI) – time in the office as needed with flexibility to work from home

Preferred

System-level design and/or analysis experience

Familiarity with Altium Designer

Embedded firmware design & coding experience in C/C++

Knowledge of Python
