Responsibilities
Using customer supplied information, create all required documentation for manufacturing to customer, Axis, and industry standards
Ensure all tooling is available for manufacturing 100% on time to kitting / manufacturing schedule
Maintain a good understanding of each manufacturing process and customer requirements
Generate and manage Bill of Materials (BoM) within 24 hours of request
Raise and maintain customer query logs, manage updates and historic data, highlight ongoing issues
Provide line support to resolve manufacturing issues
Review and implement improvements reported by manufacturing to assembly instructions
Generation of instructions for any mid-build changes
Work with manufacturing on NPI product to ensure the best possible processes are used
Contribute to Axis' continual improvement activities
Ensure the work area is clean, tidy, presentable, and in line with the 5S program

Required
Previous experience of working as a Production Engineer preferably
Educated to A-Level standard
Preferred
HNC in Electronics in desirable
