Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of robust data pipelines to ingest, aggregate, and index diverse data sources into the organization's data lake.

Spearhead the development of a cutting-edge data warehousing platform with stringent security and compliance requirements.

Collaborate closely with the data analytics team to support reporting and analysis of key business metrics.

Partner with the data science and machine learning team to build scalable capabilities for rapid experimentation and insight generation.

Mentor and coach engineers on the data team to foster a culture of data excellence and innovation.

Required

10+ years of experience architecting and implementing large-scale enterprise data solutions.

7+ years of proficient experience in modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Redshift, with a strong understanding of their architectural principles.

7+ years of demonstrated expertise in designing and optimizing high-volume, real-time, and batch ETL pipelines.

5+ years of experience in coaching and mentoring team members to foster professional growth and development, with a focus on cultivating a growth mindset through constructive feedback and support.

Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced startup environments, with a self-starting attitude and a passion for driving impactful change. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and see yourself as a partner with the business with the shared goal of moving the business forward

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You collaborate seamlessly with functional partners to connect the dots across business needs and independently drive projects forward. Your dedicated partnerships are with Source System Engineers, Data Scientists, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Security, and Machine Learning practitioners.

Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field or relevant industry industry experience
