Responsibilities

Support and enhance high-quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite.

Analyze and resolve software-related issues from internal or external customers.

Document specifications, design, and features of applications before production rollout.

Execute solution enhancements to improve performance and availability.

Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership.

Ensure adherence to technology standards during system development.

Explore and contribute innovative ideas to improve processes and efficiency.

Mentor other developers and continuously improve knowledge of new technologies.

Execute all facets of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle.

Complete assigned responsibilities, projects, and duties.

Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Required

BS or MS Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, and 4+ years of relevant experience

8 plus years of industry experience

Must have 2+ years’ Healthcare data experience

Optimization and tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers

4-5 years' experience with languages: Java or Python

4-5 years' experience with one of the following databases: Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, Hive

4-5 years' experience with web services using Java and Spring Boot

Strong knowledge of healthcare claim data, preferred

Strong knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices, preferred

Optum Webstrat or PSI(Payment System Interface) experience, strongly preferred

Proficiency working with large data sets

Preferred

Experience with Cloudera Hadoop
