Responsibilities
Prospect Research: Identify potential donors aligning with WholeSchool Mindfulness’s mission.
Lead Qualification and Meeting Coordination: Schedule and prepare for meetings with potential donors.
Material Preparation and Presentation: Develop presentation materials and proposals.
Salesforce Tracking: Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities in Salesforce.
Event Support: Assist in event planning and execution.
Donor Cultivation and Follow-Up: Lead follow-up efforts to maintain donor engagement.
Collaboration and Reporting: Provide updates on fundraising activities and outcomes.
Donor Portfolio Management: Build and manage a portfolio of donors and institutional funding contacts, developing engagement and solicitation strategies.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of experience in fundraising, sales, investor relations, or similar roles, including outside the nonprofit sector.
Demonstrated initiative and a 'go-getter' attitude, with a proven track record of problem-solving and achieving results in ambiguous or undefined situations.
Strategic thinking/visioning: Able to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way.
Open to giving and receiving feedback.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including remote collaboration.
Commitment to WholeSchool Mindfulness’s mission and values.
Ability to travel and availability for in-person work.
Preferred
Preferred but not required: familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM.
