Responsibilities
Develop AI solutions using Python and popular AI libraries/frameworks like Langchain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and spaCy.
Utilize Azure services for AI solutions, including Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI APIs, and Azure SQL Database.
Apply in-depth knowledge of search algorithms, indexing techniques, and retrieval models for effective information retrieval tasks.
Implement RAG architecture in natural language processing tasks and proficiently manipulate data using SQL Server.
Utilize machine learning and deep learning techniques for text extraction, classification, sentiment analysis, etc.
Preprocess and clean large datasets efficiently using SQL/Python and data manipulation tools.
Work with healthcare data standards, sensitive data, and cloud computing principles.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Optimize cloud resource usage and minimize costs using cloud cost management best practices.

Required
Solid foundation in Python programming
Familiarity with AI libraries/frameworks such as Langchain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and spaCy
Proficiency in developing AI solutions using Azure services
In-depth knowledge of search algorithms, indexing techniques, and retrieval models
Hands-on experience with RAG architecture in natural language processing tasks
Proficient in manipulating data, performing complex queries, and conducting data transformations using SQL Server
Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning techniques relevant to natural language processing tasks
Ability to preprocess and clean large datasets efficiently using SQL/Python and other data manipulation tools
Expertise in working with healthcare data standards, sensitive data, and data masking techniques
Knowledge of cloud computing principles and experience in deploying, scaling, and monitoring AI solutions on cloud platforms
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of cloud cost management principles and best practices
Preferred
Familiarity with search platforms like Elasticsearch or Azure AI Search
Experience with data normalization, feature engineering, and data augmentation techniques
Experience with HIPAA and FHIR standards
Experience in optimizing cloud resource usage and minimizing costs
Minimum of 10 years' experience as a data scientist
Deep hands-on experience using Python
Hands-on experience scaling POC to production
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud eco-system
Hands-on experience using tools such as Document Intelligence (formerly Azure Form Recognizer), Snowflake, Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI
Experience working with PII/PHI
Hands-on experience working with unstructured data
Implemented a use case using RAG architecture
