Responsibilities

Determine quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.

Establish statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable errors; determine levels of confidence.

Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.

Maintain metrics for monthly KPI’s.

Analyze data by using statistical processes.

Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; create action plans for improvements.

Maintain or expand professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications; establish personal networks; benchmark state-of-the-art practices; participate in professional societies; maintain American Society of Quality Control Certified quality engineer qualifications.

Write and update PFMEA, PCP, and Process flows.

Lead the corrective action process.

Work with and lead improvement initiatives.

Complete PPAP and first article submissions as required.

Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015

Other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent preferred

2+ years in a related or similar field

Analyze detailed information; report research results; possess strong technical understanding; promote process improvement; develop standards; manage processes, manufacturing methods and procedures; support innovation; knowledge of CAD & Quality Engineering; must have ability to research improvement processes

Must be able to stand 75% of the time

Job involves twisting, turning, reaching, bending, climbing, pulling, pushing

Must be able to lift 25lbs approximately 15 times during the day

Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to learn / use additional software as needed
