Responsibilities
Lead others in the development of standard test methods and processes and apply advanced test technologies to create or improve test methods.
Assist with R&D proposals and present them to internal management.
Apply emerging industry technologies to develop test procedures.
Review critical procedures to identify potential problems and resolve issues.
Oversee the integration of new design and manufacturing techniques into test hardware/system designs.
Analyze processes for potential improvements and recommend associated changes.
Resolve or oversee the resolution of special test procedures.
Work with the enterprise test and engineering group to standardize evaluation techniques.
Assist leadership with managing and overseeing all facets of the hardware test/verification flow and ensure adequate requirements/plans have properly flowed to meet program needs.
Build up and take ownership of the suitable production environments that are used to meet program requirements.
Create and manage plans that ensure the production hardware is processed through all levels for unit/payload level testing and are delivered on-time.

Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SSBI Clearance.
5 or more years of testing experience.
Experience performing one or more of the following tests for EO/IR payload products: Thermal Vacuum & Thermal Cycle, Vibration, Modal, Shock, Deployment testing of assemblies, units, and payload-level devices
Ability to understand detailed Work Order Instructions with an emphasis on payload-level hardware integration and test, from sub-assembly through the final (environmental) test.
Experience testing internal and external space flight hardware.
Experience collaborating closely with Engineering and Program leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited course of study.
Preferred
Active Top Secret Clearance.
10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with space-based sensor or weapons systems.
Master's degree or higher.
