Responsibilities

Excellent application design and coding skills leveraging open source frameworks for cloud native solutions

Hands on experience programming of UI with Vue.JS, various JS frameworks, CSS/SCSS and HTML

Hands on experience programming of Java and Spring framework

Leadership and collaboration within and across agile development teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack development tools and technologies

Work closely with partner teams, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional system needs and work prioritization

Leadership and mentoring of junior developers as the team captain

Strong sense of quality, pride in workmanship, and desire for continuous improvement as an individual and across the team

Required

10 years IT experience

Frontend experience with Web applications and JavaScript frameworks like Vue.JS , Typescript, HTML 5, and CSS

Application development experience using one of modern languages: Java, JEE, or Spring

Experience deploying Applications to IaaS and PaaS from Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Services

Experience developing RESTful APIs

Preferred

Experience with Docker and containerized applications

Experience with container orchestration frameworks: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Amazon ECS

Experience with testing frameworks and Quality Assurance technologies: ATDD, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, and SoapUI

Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, and GitHub

Strong understanding of HTTP protocol, WebSocket, SSE, and other web technologies

Experience with messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ

Ability to have technical conversations with Product and Business leadership, in addition to Engineering and Support/Operations teams

Conveys highly technical concepts and information in written form to technical and non-technical audiences

The ability to work on multiple concurrent projects is essential. Strong self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Must be a team-oriented individual, energetic, result & delivery oriented, with a keen interest on quality and the ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work in an agile environment
