Responsibilities

Be the subject matter expert in transitioning the current physical infrastructure to a more virtualized environment.

Build new tooling, automate manual processes, and evolve existing tools and automation to scale with the growing environment.

Assist in maintaining the enterprise virtualization environment (VMware) by troubleshooting, performance monitoring, optimization, and capacity planning.

Required

Minimum of 2 years of experience managing and engineering automation technologies; VMware enterprise virtualization strongly preferred

Hands on experience with intermediate/advanced automation using Powershell/powercli and/or Python is required

Proficient knowledge of Linux and/or Windows (Server 2012 R2 or higher) operating systems required

Familiarity with kernel-level, network level (TCP/IP) and SAN technologies is required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or similar technical field required

Preferred

Proficiency in enterprise monitoring tools such as Grafana, InfluxDB, graphite, Telegraf, ELK, Nagios a plus
