Responsibilities
Exert influence and set the direction across multiple teams within the department.
Develop strategic ML initiatives aligning with organizational goals and driving innovation in complex business scenarios.
Oversee the design and implementation of advanced ML systems to enhance product offerings.
Orchestrate department-wide adoption of advanced machine learning techniques and frameworks.
Spearhead high-impact projects leveraging ML to open new markets and enhance competitive edge.
Facilitate collaboration among different teams for seamless integration of ML technologies.
Guide the development of scalable and robust ML architectures for multiple product applications.
Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and adaptation in the face of evolving ML technologies.

Required
10+ years of experience as an ML Engineer / Data Scientist preferably in SaaS environments
You know the critical questions to ask in order to understand a client’s business problem, translating them to learning problems amenable to ML solutions, and showing the business impact of technical solutions
You have crisp written and verbal communication skills
You have experience with modeling dynamic, time aware systems and time series forecasting
You have deep exposure to ML tech stack (Sklearn, Keras/TensorFlow, Pytorch, tuning frameworks, data modeling, Python/Pandas data frameworks, and scalable technical concepts/solutions) as well as analytical & statistical modeling skills (non-parametric prediction, unsupervised learning, measuring uncertainty & statistical inference)
You are engaged in the open-source community with public libraries implementing ML algorithms / frameworks or can point to contributions in the community
Preferred
You have formal training in a variety of statistical learning algorithms
You have 5+ years experience in deploying ML systems on GCP or AWS
Owned, deployed and maintained model serving pipelines in production
Creativity and resourcefulness with an appetite to solve previously unsolved problems
Ambitious, collaborative, and empathetic values
Experience with probabilistic programming
