Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of manufacturing and process specifications for thermoplastic, thermoset membrane, and associated accessories.

Assist with equipment/line installs and start-ups for capital equipment projects.

Define project priorities, scope, and future development directions with various functions including Manufacturing, Engineering, and Purchasing.

Support the R&D group by answering questions, testing, qualifying new materials, evaluating equipment, and providing assistance as needed.

Lead task groups to explore new methods and equipment for manufacturing Carlisle membrane products and recycling scrap membrane.

Required

BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Plastics & Polymer Engineering, Physical Science or Mechanical Engineering minimum

0-5 years of experience in the thermoplastics or rubber extrusion industry

Equivalency - 8 years of experience in the roofing industry with the last 5 years of experience with single-ply system production
