Responsibilities

Create solid models of parts and assemblies from concept and make modifications to existing models, primarily in Solidworks.

Troubleshoot and brainstorm complex setups in the aerospace and gas turbine industry for R&D development projects.

Create assembly drawings and complete Bill of Material lists.

Make fully toleranced detail drawings per ASME Y14.5 that achieve fit and form requirements necessary for proper functionality of the part.

Interface with Manufacturing Engineering to refine designs for manufacturability.

Prepare presentation material for and attend internal design reviews.

Multitask working several projects simultaneously and assist with projects in process.

Take directions primarily from internal project engineers and interface with customers as necessary.
