Responsibilities
Maintains in-depth understanding of theories, concepts, technical principles, and processes related to all aspects of air-cooled chillers.
Leads engineering activities in refrigeration components selection and system design to meet product specification.
Develops and executes test programs independently to verify performance and reliability of mechanical sub-components and systems.
Analyzes test data, develops calculation methods and simulation models to predict components and system performance. Initiate and drive design changes based on test data feedback.
Leads development and sustainment projects working with cross functional teams to ensure on-time completion of projects.
Generate technical documentation for use within the company.
Serves as technical expert to support product code/standard compliance efforts.
Provides technical support to manufacturing, field trouble shooting and application inquiries.
Mentors and supervises junior engineers to effectively develop technical competency.
Strives for continuous improvement and teamwork in a global product development environment.

Required
BS in Mechanical (or Electrical) Engineering or related science, Master’s Degree is preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in product design and manufacturing.
Extensive knowledge/experience in refrigeration system and components (compressors, heat exchangers) is preferable.
Experience in leading product development on local and global platform.
Experience with manufacturing processes including fabrication, assembly, and testing processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to both internal and external customers at varying technical expertise.
Preferred
Master’s Degree in Mechanical (or Electrical) Engineering or related science.
Experience in refrigeration system and components (compressors, heat exchangers).
