Responsibilities

Mentor, coach, and develop a team of cross-functional developers and engineers

Foster a culture of security and site reliability: drive automation, learn from service and security incidents, release new features, and build on the contributions of others

Align device, access, and security deliverables with the most important business outcomes

Works across Microsoft Security and the Company to seamlessly integrate your service and device policy with partner teams; incorporate Azure, Virtualization, Intune/MEM, and Microsoft Defender services into device health strategy.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR equivalent experience

5+ years of experience leading high level production services with a track record in successfully planning and support large scale, geo-distributed, high availability enterprise cloud platforms

3+ years of people management experience

1+ years of virtualization or device management experience

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR equivalent experience.

4+ years people management experience.

Efficient troubleshooting skills

Outstanding communication capabilities can translate complex technical detail into clear and concise business outcomes.

Largescale service data management reporting (Example: Kusto KQL or other)

Familiarity with engineering release practices and tooling (ADO, Jira, Github)

Familiarity with Blazor and/or React
