Responsibilities

Manage and support networks that power Riot’s esports events and competitive environments

Actively engage other teams to build resilience, observability, and automation into the system

Ensure systems are appropriately documented and maintained

Manage ambiguity within complex problem spaces and communicate tradeoffs

Support global and regional esports events on-site & remotely

3+ years experience with Layer 2/3 network operation and maintenance

Understanding of Layer 2 switching

Understanding of network security

Experience with the TCP/IP protocol stack

CCNA/JNCIA certifications or equivalent experience

Preferred

CCNP/JNCIP (enterprise routing/switching)

Experience with Palo Alto appliances

Experience supporting traveling events, roadshows, or conferences

Experience in Live Production environments

Experience designing and implementing layer 3 networks, MPLS, BGP & Pseudowires/L2VPN, Multicast, PIM

Experience designing, implementing, and supporting IP fabric for media and entertainment
