Responsibilities
Evaluating core processes/ technologies and integrating them creatively to solve business problems.
Designing and conducting time studies, devising standard work routines, and collaborating on best practices.
Improving key fulfillment metrics across the supply chain network.
Making strategy recommendations impacting operations and process/systems engineering teams.
Performing data analysis to establish site floor metrics and optimize storage capacity.
Partnering with site Director to identify facility design requirements and assess time estimates.
Conducting time studies of Labor Management, tracking effectiveness, and recommending changes.
Developing and maintaining work standards that promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
Leading the technical assessment of potential suppliers and supporting continuous improvement.
Collaborating with cross-functional partners to identify necessary design requirements and execute activities.
Supporting lean principles, design of experiments, and enhancing CAD drawings for facility improvements.

Required
BS in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical field; other technical degree with relevant IE experience. MA degree a plus (or 3-4 years Industrial Engineering experience)
3 years minimum exposure to warehousing and supply chain
Ability to identify and evaluate multiple options and alternatives and effectively determine the appropriate action based on available information
Strong understanding of IE concepts and ability to apply them across the supply chain
3 years minimum experience with AutoCAD, SQL, VBA, WMS and LMS; Advanced experience using MS suite, including Access, Excel, & PowerPoint
Experience/Understanding of Lean Six Sigma processes with analytical tools such as flow charts, Pareto charts, cause and effect diagrams, run charts, etc
Strong communication skills both verbally and written including the ability to communicate with all levels of management
Preferred
MA degree
Experience in Lean Six Sigma processes
